Impressive hand-painted Japanese Imari/Kutani-style floor vase with trumpet neck and baluster body. The decoration combines figurative scenes (figures in kimono, terrace landscape, pavilion) with floral panels (peony, chrysanthemum) and diaper borders, executed in the classic Imari/Kutani palette: underglaze cobalt blue with iron-red, gilding and polychrome enamels on a bright white ground. Interior shows throwing rings from the wheel; base unmarked. • Origin: Japan (attribution by style) • Period: 20th century (likely mid-century) • Material/Technique: Porcelain; underglaze blue with overglaze enamels & gilt Dimensions • Height: 77 cm • Max. diameter: 30 cm Condition Good vintage condition overall.
