Description from the seller
For the audiophile, a classic Philips tuner amplifier 732, perfect for enthusiasts of high-quality FM/AM reproduction and vintage audio equipment. This tuner is known for its clear sound quality, precise tuning, and durable Philips construction, making it a reliable addition to any hi-fi system.
The Philips 732 dates from the 1970s, typical of the hi-fi era when devices were built for both performance and aesthetics. It is not a pure tuner but a tuner-amplifier or receiver (so, a tuner and amplifier in one cabinet). This device combines an FM/AM radio with an integrated stereo amplifier (about 2 × 12 watts), allowing you to connect speakers directly. Ideal for those who appreciate retro hi-fi equipment with warm sound and classic design.
Next to the volume button at the front, there is the option to connect headphones, which is neatly concealed behind a foldable cover.
Retro charm: beautifully designed, often seen as an eye-catcher for vintage audio enthusiasts. Solidly built, with analog components, robust buttons, and often good material choices. An ideal choice for collectors of vintage audio equipment.
Main features
PU button (Pickup) → the switch is intended for a turntable, located at the back as a 5-pin DIN input.
Tape → a tape recorder or cassette deck can also be connected, also via a DIN connection on the back.
