This is the "TR-4410," a retro portable radio released by Sony in 1979. It features a "crystal control" function that allows for one-touch tuning of Nippon Shortwave Broadcasting (now Radio Nikkei), and is a renowned model that won the Good Design Award in 1979.

Main Features
NSB One-Touch Reception:
The six channels of Nippon Shortwave Broadcasting (Radio Tanpa) (1st and 2nd broadcasts) are fixed using a crystal oscillator. High-sensitivity reception is possible with a single switch, without the need to adjust the dial.

It was highly valued as a business and practical radio, particularly for listening to horse racing broadcasts and stock market information.

Design:
Features a sharp, compact body with extensive use of aluminum. A silver "SONY" logo shines on the lower right.

Awarded the Good Design Award in 1979, it boasts a design that excels in both functionality and aesthetics.

Power Supply:
Powered by 2 x AA batteries (3V).

It can also be operated with an AC adapter (3V) using the DC terminal on the back.

Condition & Market Value:
Retro/Vintage Value: This is a rare transistor radio that is no longer in production and is popular among collectors as a Showa-era retro audio device.
