Pablo Picasso’s “Bouquet”, created on April 21, 1958, is an iconic lithograph that shows two hands offering a bouquet of flowers. The drawing, marked by its simplicity and symbolic power, has become a universal emblem of peace and friendship.
The work was created during the Cold War, at a time when Picasso—an avowed communist and peace activist—produced several artworks with pacifist messages.
This image was used as the official poster for the World Peace Congress. It is still often used today in pacifist contexts.
