19th-century oval silver box, for chopped tobacco, composed of two parts that fit one inside the other, decorated on both sides with hand-chiselled techniques featuring floral motifs, landscape, and chiselled Greek key pattern at the top and bottom.

Silver object with hand-turned, molded, engraved, and chiseled processes.

Engraved and burin-engraved on the interior, with the mark of the 'ensayador' D. Rafael de Martos y Luque (1824-1881) and silversmith D. Rafael Cordoba Benavente (1868), indicating a dating of 1868.

It has the collectible importance of an object that was useful and manufactured 157 years ago, which has survived to the present in an exceptional condition.

No photographic decoration is included, and the object will be packaged with the importance it deserves.
