Description of the Last Golden Five Franc Coin of Willem I 1827

The very last gold 5 gulden issued under the reign of King Willem I: The Gold Five-Guilder 1827.
The last of Willem I, but the first struck on (contemporary) Dutch territory, namely in the Utrecht Mint House. The edition of this special coin is only 517,828 pieces. The quality of this old coin is often questionable because gold is a fragile material. The coin presented here is of very good collector's quality.
