Apple 512K/800 (1986) - Macintosh - In original box

Apple Macintosh 512K/800 (1986), a version of the famous Macintosh from the mid-1980s equipped with an 800 KB floppy drive. Inside this package was sold a compact computer with a Motorola 68000 processor at 8 MHz, 512 KB of RAM, and a 9-inch monochrome CRT monitor with a resolution of 512 by 342 pixels. The system did not have an internal hard drive but relied on floppy disks for booting and loading programs, while offering the classic serial ports for printer and modem, a dedicated port for the mouse, and a port for an external floppy disk. Audio was played through a small internal mono speaker. The computer, in its compact unit, measured approximately 34.5 by 24.4 by 27.7 centimeters and weighed around 7.5 kilograms. The box visible in the photo, complete with internal polystyrene packaging like the ones shown, occupied an approximate space of 45 by 32 by 50 centimeters, and the total weight with components and accessories included typically reached about 10–12 kilograms.
