Antique Art Deco gold-filled necklace from Germany (Pforzheim), dating to circa 1915–1930, with a vermeil chain, length about 45 cm, weight 8.14 g, and a three blue-cut Gablonz glass stone centerpiece, marked Doublé and A. Daub on the last link.

Unique find from the renowned jewelry atelier of Andreas Daub, Pforzheim - Germany.
Beautiful, unique gold-filled necklace with a centerpiece of three lovely blue-cut 'Gablonz' glass stones and gold-colored matte and shiny fantasy links, attached to a very beautiful gold-glossy (Vermeil) chain.
Beautiful craftsmanship by one of his creative goldsmiths, circa 1915-30, Pforzheim region, Germany.
Necklace length approximately 45 cm.
Intermediate hanger dimensions: 16.5 cm L x 1 cm W.
Blue stones, dimensions: 1.5 cm L x 1 cm W.
Chain link size, 1.5 cm L x 1 cm W.
Weight: 8.14 grams.
Certification mark on the last link before closure: Doublé and A. D. certification from Andreas Daub.

More than 135 years ago, the founder Andreas Daub laid the foundation for the company that would become one of the most important in the jewelry industry in Germany.
As a young goldsmith, Andreas Daub quickly recognized the opportunities that

Reeds in the beginning of the 20th century, Andreas Daub was one of the most.

To date, this successful family business has been run by the fourth and fifth generations of the Daub family.
From 1890, they specialized in a new method for manufacturing jewelry with 'rolled' or hammered gold (Doublé), and this contributed to the name becoming internationally recognized.
On a double pressed metal plate (Alpaca), a thin layer of silver was first cast, then they rolled or printed a thin layer of gold onto it twice. The plates were then transported to the atelier for the making and manufacturing of the jewelry. Afterwards, they were carefully polished with a guarantee of maintaining a lifelong gold shine (vermeil), as evidenced by this necklace!
