Covered with a bonded cover.
The Pastures of Heaven is a collection of short stories by John Steinbeck, first published in 1932 in the United States. It consists of twelve interconnected stories — which can be considered short stories.
In California, between Salinas and Monterey, farming families live prosperous and peaceful lives. The land is rich and easy to cultivate, and the fruits of the gardens are the most beautiful in California. John Steinbeck describes these families with tenderness and humor. The same landscape gathers very diverse characters who, under the same sky, build a dream intimately intertwined with the land, the flowers, the animals, and the great cosmic breath of the seasons.
Generally well-preserved copy with minor wear marks on the headbands. Sturdy hinge. Fresh interior and free of foxing.
