“Under the Unbroken Blue” XL is a visual artwork by Nik Haku that immerses a solitary figure in a vast blue silence. Suspended beneath the water's skin, the figure's pale hair drifts like a soft echo, dissolving into currents of shadow and light. Tiny particles shimmer around the body, as if time itself were breaking apart into floating fragments. The deep monochrome blues evoke a dream where gravity loosens and memory submerges, holding everything in a slow, luminous hush.
Artist's statement:
This piece reflects on the moment when identity becomes fluid. When the self softens, submerged in something larger and unnamed. I wanted to explore the quiet tension between surrender and persistence: the breath held underwater, the thought suspended before it fades. The figure is not meant as a portrait, but as a threshold, a place where presence loosens its edges and the world grows wide, weightless, and blue.
Artwork details:
• Limited Edition: 1/10
Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Premium Silk Paper and is sold unframed.
Its elegant finish and subtle texture give it a sophisticated appearance, with vibrant, rich colors. The paper’s natural resistance also helps protect the print from fingerprints and scratches.
Each piece is individually numbered and signed, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is carefully rolled, packaged, and shipped via tracked and insured express courier from Spain to destinations worldwide.
About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques—primarily photography, complemented by painting—to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
