You are bidding on an old french 4/4 violin, labeled "A P Arthur Parisot Impasse de la Baleine Paris” Condition: No cracks, some tears and wears to varnish Description: Good quality straight high grained spruce was chosen for the top. Two pieces back of beautiful narrow flamed maple. Matched sides, neck and scroll. New boxwood set up, old master made Aubert bridge, new strings, the violin is ready to play. The whole length of the violin is 591 mm and the back 360 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 165 mm; middle bouts: 115 mm; lower bouts: 201 mm. Full size.
