Meissen - Vase - Porcelain

The vase with handles in the shape of snakes was designed by Ernst Leuteritz in 1853. It was also produced at various times, including at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The vase has an amphora shape, decorated with flowers, predominantly chrysanthemums, and gilded edges and base. The handles are shaped like intertwined snake bodies. It is beautiful and in good condition, with only a very small chip on the top part – see the photos. Its beauty and decorations attract attention; it is an item sought after by refined collectors.
