Description from the seller
This work by FANO is fully aligned with the pop art movement. It depicts Mickey and Minnie, cheerful and companionable, against a background of an American Express card.
First of all, the background attracts attention with its resemblance to a bank card. It features visual elements of an American Express card but humorously distorts them. This decor symbolizes luxury, money, and consumption.
Then Mickey and Minnie appear in the center of the scene. They stand side by side, smiling and expressive. They seem to share a joyful moment. Additionally, each holds a colorful balloon in their hand. These balloons enhance the festive atmosphere of the scene. They add a sense of lightness to the whole. Artist biography:
Stéphan Ouzilou, called Fano, has always lived his life in the fast lane. His strength lies in his mindset: 'Embrace life to the fullest!'
At 17, he meets the love of his life, and they leave together for the Antilles, where they will stay for three years.
Three years that will confirm his artistic nature and his undeniable talent.
Indeed, from nothing, he quickly rises to the head of a fashion empire in the textile industry after creating the 'trapeze dress' that adapts to all body types. Between Paris and the Antilles, he chooses to stay at the forefront by designing all the shop windows of the boutiques he personally opens, showcasing his endless and uncontrollable passion for creation (he was the pioneer of the avant-garde wooden articulated store mannequin).
It is important to say that Fano grew up in the fashion industry, surrounded by prominent names like Gérard Darel.
