Beautiful 6x6 TLR with Yashikor 3.5/80 mm lenses, Nos. 853997 and 846851, with lens hood, dating from the period 1956 to 1960. The device has a Copal central shutter B and 1/25 - 1/300 s, and an X-flash contact.
The Yashica A takes 6x6cm images on 120 film. The film is manually advanced and is detached from the shutter mechanism, which offers many advantages. Infinite exposures are possible on each individual frame simply by cocking the shutter and taking a picture without advancing the film. Importantly, the best part of the camera is the Yashikor 80mm f/3.5 lens, an absolute top; when stopped down, it becomes a very sharp lens.
The lenses are clear and clean, the device has no notable signs of use, is in very good condition, and fully functional. The camera has not been tested with film, but all shutter speeds seem to work correctly by ear. See photos.
