Two volumes in-12, green leather binding of Manon Lescaut & Suite by Abbé Prévost, published by Veuve Joly in 1777, original French, 538 pages, 16 cm tall by 10 cm wide, in excellent condition.

2 volumes in-12 of 154, 126 pages and 138, 119 pages (complete)
Modern green leather binding, with an ornamented spine with raised bands, gold-embossed author and title, date at the tail, marbled endpapers.
Binding in perfect condition. Clean and complete interior (dusty first title pages).
Very rare edition of the masterpiece by Abbé Prevost, here with its apocryphal sequel attributed by Quérard to de Courcelles. This sequel was published in Amsterdam by Marc-Michel Rey in 1762, and it is here published for the second time. These two editions of the sequel are extremely rare.
