Marc Kuyper (1961) is een Nederlandse kunstenaar wiens werk balanceert tussen figuratie en abstractie. Zijn beeldtaal wordt gekenmerkt door een krachtige eenvoud, waarin vorm, kleur en symboliek samenkomen tot beelden die zowel persoonlijk als universeel zijn. Kuyper onderzoekt in zijn werk thema’s als menselijkheid, stilte, spiritualiteit en herinnering — onderwerpen die hij vertaalt in sobere, gelaagde composities met een sterke innerlijke spanning.

In dit werk staat de mens centraal — niet als portret, maar als symbool van bewustzijn en bezinning. De donkere, roestrode vormen suggereren een silhouet, een profiel en een hand die een tak met bladeren vasthoudt. Deze eenvoudige, bijna archaïsche beelden zijn omgeven door een zachte grijstint die doet denken aan steen of as, waardoor het geheel een tijdloze, bijna sacrale sfeer krijgt.

Bezichtiging is uiteraard mogelijk. Daarnaast beschikken wij over onze eigen in-house lijstenmakerij, die zijn 85e jubileumjaar viert. Verder maken wij gebruik van restauratoren uit de brancheorganisatie: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. Mocht u hiervan gebruiken willen maken dan horen wij dit uiteraard graag.
