Description from the seller

Christofle – Silver-plated footed bowl “Ondulation” – design Luc Lanel – Art Deco France – Ø 24 cm
Elegant silver-plated footed bowl from the Ondulation line designed by Luc Lanel for Christofle during the height of the French Art Deco period.

The model features the typical concentric wave pattern around the rim — a hallmark of Lanel’s minimalist yet dynamic design language.

Luc Lanel was Christofle’s chief designer from 1922 to 1945 and one of the leading figures of French Art Deco silverwork. His Ondulation series (bowls, trays, and tea services) epitomises the luxury and refinement of the 1930s, combining precise geometry with fluid motion.

This 24 cm coupe, with its low foot and perfectly proportioned profile, is both functional and sculptural — an iconic Christofle creation.
