Dési van Rhee

Elegant Eloi Pernet superior quality large size cigar cutter made out of a genuine 5 Francs "Liberte - Egalite - Fraternite" 1850 silver coin with steel blade

In 1920 Eloi Pernet established his own factory in Biesles, quickly becaming renowned for its craft, as Hermes, Dupont, Vuitton, and Dunhill all sought Pernet fine craftsmanship.

In 1925 Eloi won the *Meilleur Ouvrier de France* (Best Craftsman of France) award for a multi-blade knife. The following year, he and his artisans again won the *Meilleur Ouvier de France* award.
By 1937 Pernet had won first prize in the "Arts & Techniques" contest in the Expositions Universelles de Paris.
In 1959, Eloi obtained the Medaille d'Or de *Qualité France* (gold medal of "Quality France").
He died in 1963, leaving behind a unique discipline for quality and fine craftsmanship.

Fully Hallmarked on both sides Paris Assay Office "boar's head" guarantee mark for 950 silver, together with Eloi Pernet silversmith's mark
