Original edition of this poetic collection published by Eugène Guillevic (1907-1997), adorned with 21 drawings by Fernand Léger, including a title vignette.
Limited edition of 2000 copies. This one on Johannot rag vellum, numbered 1375.
Third work in the collection 'Le Point d'Or' edited by Paul Eluard.
Paperback, with a dust jacket with flaps.
A very nice example, in excellent condition, with a fresh and clean interior.
Eugène Guillevic, born on August 5, 1907, in Carnac (Morbihan), and died on March 18, 1997, in Paris 5th arrondissement, was a French poet. He never signed his numerous collections except with his only name, Guillevic. Before the war, he became friends with Jean Follain, who introduced him to the Sagesse group. He later belonged to the group of the École de Rochefort.
