Kininvie 23 Year Old, a single malt from the Kininvie distillery in Speyside, Scotland, bottled at 42.6% ABV in a 35 cl bottle with original packaging.
Description from the seller
Kininvie is the sister distillery of Glenfiddich and Balvenie. It is located on the same site in Speyside. Founded in 1990 by William Grant & Sons, it was not until 2013 that the first single malt whisky was launched under its own name. The fact that the name is very unknown is due to the fact that the owners did not want to establish the whisky as an independent brand at first. This whisky is also found in the Grants Blended Scotch Whisky and the Monkey Shoulder. Also in Hazelwood Whisky. The fact that the distillery is one of the largest distillery is shown by the production volume of almost 5 million liters of alcohol per year. At Kininvie, the mash does not come from the wooden vat, but is fed from Balvenie to the distillery via branched pipes. The whisky is a mild Speyside whisky with creamy toffee and vanilla. And has a good resemblance to a Balvenie whisky. However, this would be significantly more expensive for 23 years of storage. The Kininvie 23 Year Old with a strong 42.6% ABV, which is also available at Balvenie, is a good alternative.
