Description from the seller
General
For sale, this superb 1996 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta represents one of the most iconic models of the Prancing Horse brand. Designed by Pininfarina, the F355 is renowned for its timeless lines, its singing atmospheric V8 engine, and its distinctly sporty character. This example offers a unique opportunity to acquire a classic Ferrari, fully restored to the highest standards.
History & Provenance
This Ferrari F355 Berlinetta experienced an accident in its past. Following this event, the car was taken care of and fully repaired, firstly by Ferrari at Garage Francorchamps Motors Brussels and secondly by Maranello Service in Luxembourg with a new body. The intervention was carried out according to the brand's strict standards, using exclusively original Ferrari parts.
The work carried out by Ferrari ensures that the car has been brought into compliance with the manufacturer's original specifications, both structurally, mechanically, and aesthetically. This professional restoration guarantees complete peace of mind regarding the quality and reliability of the vehicle today.
Mechanical state
The mechanics are in excellent working condition. The 3.5-liter V8 engine starts effortlessly, revs freely, and delivers all its power in a linear and exhilarating manner. The gearbox functions perfectly, with precise and smooth gear changes. The suspension, braking system, and all mechanical components are sound and meet the expectations for a Ferrari of this caliber. No expenses are expected. We recently performed a major service, including: engine oil change and gearbox oil change, replacement of the coolant and brake fluid, air conditioning recharge, replacement of various seals, spark plug replacement, filter replacements (oil, fuel, air), new timing belt + complete service belt kit. The brakes are almost new.
Exterior & Structure
The condition of the bodywork is perfect: it shows no dents or scratches, and no welding or repairs are anticipated. Since its complete restoration, the vehicle has always been kept in a dry garage. We have just performed a full polishing to ensure it is in a concours-worthy condition.
Interior
The interior is in very good condition. The leathers are well-tensioned, clean, and show wear consistent with the age and mileage of the vehicle. The typical Ferrari ergonomics, the sporty atmosphere, and the perceived quality make this interior an environment that is as enjoyable for dynamic driving as it is for more relaxed use.
Additional Information
This 1996 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta presents an interesting opportunity for an enthusiast looking to fully enjoy the Ferrari experience, with complete transparency regarding its history. The fact that repairs were carried out by the Francorchamps garage and Maranello Service garage, using only original parts, is a testament to reliability and rare quality. A car ready to be driven, appreciated, and integrated into a collection.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
