Pair of Aurora design Italian plastic lamps in ABS, brown, produced in Italy by Siberin in the late 1960s, designed by Francesco Turrini, suitable as table lamps or wall appliques, with dimensions 12 × 12 × 17 cm, E14 small-socket bulbs (not included) and in excellent, nearly new condition (NOS), with original Siberin box and installation leaflet.
Description from the seller
Pair of bedside or wall lamps made of ABS in a refined dark brown color.
This model, called Aurora, is extremely rare and was produced in Italy by Siberin of Caronno Pertusella (VA) during the height of the Space Age, in the late 1960s, for a very limited period as an experiment by its owner, Francesco Turrini (born 1940), who is still at the helm of his company specializing in the production of refrigeration instruments.
Designed as table lamps, they were produced with the article code 126 and prepared to also be attached to the wall (appliqué). Some close-up photos feature images from the Siberin Catalog of the era (not included).
Excellent condition, practically like new (NOS: New Old Stock) because they have been stored for almost 60 years in the Siberin warehouse in Caronno Pertusella, so they may only show very small signs due to storage.
Mount bulbs with small E14 socket (not included) - max 40 watt.
IMPORTANT: the lamps are still in their packaging and have only been opened for testing and photographing!
Each one is accompanied by the instruction sheet for wall mounting and the original Siberin cardboard box (see detailed image) in which they will be shipped.
The box is offered as a free gift and will be wrapped in black cellophane for suitcases to provide greater protection during transport.
Always tracked and accurate shipping.
