Fine detailed etching by the prominent American printmaker Leonard Edmondson, a central figure of post-war Californian abstract modernism. Edmondson was known for his virtuously constructed abstract compositions, characterized by lyrical lines, atmospheric structures, and a subtly orchestrated play of forms and spaces.
