Teapot (3) - Earthenware

Three Yixing clay teapots, China, 20th century. Unlike regular ceramic teapots, Yixing ones are unglazed but porous, which ensures the absorption of tea aroma over time. They are traditionally dedicated to a single type of tea (Oolong or black tea). In good condition: small frog-shaped foot missing on one lid and a small chip on the rim.
