Description from the seller

Antique Alexanderwerk printing press – a rare piece of craftsmanship from the early 20th century.

An impressive and entirely original book and paper printing press from the renowned German brand Alexanderwerk. This robust device, with serial number 1490, breathes pure industrial history and serves as a splendid example of early 20th-century craftsmanship.

The printing press features a beautifully designed cast iron frame, decorated with elegant Art Nouveau accents and the iconic winged angel logo of Alexanderwerk. The rotation mechanism still operates smoothly, and the heavy press plate attests to the sturdy use these presses were known for. Signs of age and use are present, but they actually enhance the authentic appearance that collectors highly value.

Ideal as a centerpiece in an industrial interior, as a decoration in a workshop or office, or as a complement to a collection of graphic heritage. A functional, decorative, and historically valuable object that can last for generations.

A beautiful collectible that is becoming increasingly rare on the market.
