Bathory – The Return - Under the Flag FLAG 9 – England 1987 – reissue (condition sleeve and record VG+) Bathory was a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Vällingby in March 1983. Named after Hungarian countess Elizabeth Báthory, they are considered pioneers of black metal. The Return is the second studio album by the band. It was released in 1985 through Black Mark Records and Under One Flag (1987). The band consists of Quorton (vocals, guitar, bass guitar, synthesizer), Christern Sanström (bass guitar), and Paul Pelle Lundberg (drums). The record is in VG+ condition, but there are several hairlines on both sides. Only in the soft intro of the first track on side 2 a few times a soft tapping can be heard in the background.
