Small Bronze Apothecary Mortar – Spain, 17th–18th Century

A finely cast bronze mortar featuring a flared rim and a cylindrical body decorated with alternating cherub masks and column-like vertical ribs. The surface shows a beautifully matured patina, including traces of green oxidation on the interior, fully consistent with age and long historical use.
