The kimono is decorated with peonies, symbolising wealth and honour, maple leaves representing the beauty of autumn, plum blossoms signifying renewal and resilience, and chrysanthemums as a symbol of longevity and imperial elegance. The black obi is patterned with dianthus flowers symbolising love and purity, hexagonal tortoise-shell motifs for longevity, wisteria for elegance, bellflowers for unchanging loyalty, and stylised waves representing strength and the flow of life. The doll’s finely detailed face and elaborate hairstyle are complemented with ornate hair ornaments, further emphasising her graceful presence. Condition: The doll shows minor blemishes due to age, but remains in good used condition. The drum is slightly misaligned and has a visible stain. Some adhesive on the base beneath the kimono has come loose. Please refer to the photos for further details. Dimensions: approx.
