Description from the seller
The term Zen originates from Zen Buddhism, whose core practice is meditation (Zazen). It represents mindfulness, focusing on the present moment, and letting go of all distractions. In Asia, Zen is regarded as a path to inner peace, clarity, and enlightenment.
The cut is more than a physical movement. It is definitive, unambiguous, and demands the utmost presence. In this work, it becomes a meditation in motion, where mind and body are perfectly united.
So in the picture, two symbols meet.
The black circle – symbol of unity, energy, and perfection.
The red cut – an expression of concentration, discipline, and creation.
Together, they embody the essence of Zen: calm and strength, emptiness and fullness, meditation and action – in a single, irrevocable cut.
Authenticity certificate and signature on the back.
Shipping WITHOUT stretcher frame/frame, the canvas will be rolled and securely sent in a mailing tube!
