Shot on the set of Barbarella with Jane Fonda, a 1968 science fiction comedy film directed by Roger Vadim, based on the eponymous comic book by Jean-Claude Forest.
The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle cotton paper model photo rag ultra smooth, 305gsm. 4cm mat. Archival inks guaranteed for 150 years. Photography with the artist's original stamp and signature.
Images are presented at low resolution in the auction to prevent unauthorized reproductions; however, the images sent to buyers will be reproduced from the originals in high resolution for optimal printing.
Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, and has been a set photographer from 1960 to the present. In 1960, his passion for photography led him to join the press office team of Luigi Pratulon (then a set photographer for Federico Fellini's film 'La Dolce Vita').
Subsequently, he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their success. Emilio, a master of photographic light, worked on over 140 films.
