Augis 18-carat gold love medal or pendant with ruby – 'more than yesterday – than tomorrow'
The magnificent pendant you see is one of the most famous love symbol jewelry pieces. It is inspired by the creations of Alphonse Augis, a Lyonnais jeweler, who decorated this piece with the famous phrase:
More than yesterday, less than tomorrow, inspired by a poem by Rosemonde Gérard:
Car, you see, every day I love you more and more.
Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow.
Features of the jewelry:
Materials: 18-carat yellow gold, 18-carat white gold, baguette-cut synthetic rubies.
Dimensions: 21 mm
Weight: 2.8 g
Inscription: 'more than yesterday – than tomorrow' engraved with finesse, details in rubies for the '-'.
Signature: engraved 'A. Augis' at the top right.
Condition: Excellent, with slight signs of wear corresponding to the age of the jewelry.
