Ziemlich seltene, antike russische Ikone "Hl. Basilius" aus dem 19. Jhd.

Handgemalt auf einer Holztafel mit Eitemperafarben auf Kreidegrund und goldener Grundierung. Typische Methode der Ikonenherstellung im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert in Zarenrussland. Das Motiv ist eher selten und sehr beliebt in der orthodoxen Kirche.

Mit EXPERTISE von der Christine Hähn. Seinerzeit erstellt sie die Expertisen für hochqualitative antike russische Ikonen. 

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Altgläubiger-Ikone. Die Malerei ist ziemlich meisterlich und detailliert ausgeführt. (siehe Fotos)

Perfekt aufeinander abgestimmte Farbkontraste und gelungene Schattierungen. Die Malerei enthält sehr authentische Krakeelen (siehe Fotos). 

Partielle Restaurierungen und kleinere Korrekturen sind vorhanden (siehe Fotos). Besonders ausdrucksstark und auffällig ist das Gesicht des Heiligen (siehe Fotos). Die Ikone ist beschriftet. Die Beschriftungen sind gut lesbar.

Die Ikone entstand um ca. 1850-1880 in Zentralrussland. Die Ikone stammt aus einer Hausikonostase und ist in ein neues Holz eingesetzt. Bitte entnehmen Sie weiteren Details aus der Expertise. 

Die Ikone befindet sich in einem guten Zustand mit typischen altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren (siehe Fotos).
