Description from the seller

The history of the Santambrogio family is among the oldest in Italian pipe-making.
In 1912, Ferdinando Santambrogio founded a briar pipe manufacturing company in Cucciago (Como), which soon became one of the leading in Italy, also supplying semi-finished products to Castello, Caminetto, and Savinelli.
The production was then passed on to his son Giuseppe, who in the 1950s–1970s introduced his own lines and original finishes.
In the 1990s, Stefano Santambrogio resumed the tradition in an artisanal way, dedicating himself to pipes made entirely by hand, often with free shapes and of the highest quality roots.
Stefano Santambrogio pipes are distinguished by their elegant cut, clean lines, and a perfectly polished finish, often in reddish or Bordeaux tones.
Aesthetic and technical description
Flamed with a beautiful grain pattern, in mahogany red tones and amber reflections.
Handcrafted ebony bocchino, hand-polished.
Spacious room with thick walls, ideal for slow and regular smokes.
Smooth surface, finished with natural wax for deep reflections.
Clear and legible markings, a sign of excellent preservation.
Length 158 mm, weight 120 g
