Antique telephone. A completely original Swedish Rikstelefon telephone with a black metal case and wooden handset, there is some paint loss to the case, the dial and switch hooks work. The telephone is marked "Rikstelefon"(National Telephone) to front, and "K. Telegrafsverkets, Verkstad, Nynashamn" around the mouthpiece, and "Tin-App BC 310 Mod. 1925" on the base, with a cloth handset cord, and modern telephone cord to the rear. Rikstelefon was a brand of telephone made by Televerket from the late 19th century, a Swedish government agency that was responsible for telecommunications.  Televerket was originally called Kongl. Elektriska Telegraf-Werket, which translates to "Royal Electric Telegraph Agency".  The telephone is offered as a decorative curio and is untested. The handset width is 25cm (9.84") and it stands 26cm (10.23") high and weighs 3.3kg (7.28lbs).
