The scene depicts a view of Cadaqués from the edge of the quay, with the stepped white architecture on the hillside and the unmistakable profile of the town reflected in a serene, deep blue sea. In the foreground, bathing figures and a small boat add scale and life to the scene. The brushwork is loose but precise, with a clear treatment of volumes and special attention to the atmospheric effects typical of the Ampurdan coast.
