Description Elegant gilt-mounted porcelain vase in Sèvres style, dating from circa 1880–1900, richly decorated with hand-painted green enamel panels, gilded trelliswork, and raised gold accents. The vase is fitted with its original bronze ormolu mounts at the top and base, featuring finely cast floral swags, ribbon motifs, and classical borders. The porcelain is of high quality with a soft ivory ground, typical of late-19th-century French production inspired by the original Sèvres manufactory. The underside bears a blue crossed-L style mark with the letter S, a typical workshop or decorator mark used in the period for Sèvres-style export porcelain. A striking decorative vase with impressive presence and refined detailing. Purchased in Germany in 1950; private collection ever since. Condition Very good overall condition. No cracks or chips to the porcelain. Light age-related wear to the gilding on the bronze mounts (consistent with age). Stable and displays beautifully.
