Elegant Art Nouveau Table Lamp - Heron
A striking and decorative Art Nouveau table lamp, dating from the early 20th century (c. 1920-1930). This highly atmospheric piece perfectly captures the natural, fluid lines and stylized depictions of flora and fauna characteristic of the period.
France, 1920-1930
Motif: A beautiful, detailed depiction of a Heron standing among stylized Cattails and Irises.
Figurine Material: Cold-Painted Bronze on the foliage. The painting on the vegetation provides a realistic and vibrant look.
Base: Substantial, rectangular base made of grey/white veined Marble, providing excellent stability and an elegant foundation.
Shade: A beautiful spherical glass shade 'verre de Clichy', featuring a mottled white-on-clear pattern that creates a soft, diffused light when illuminated.
