A fine porcelain plate, measuring circa 23cm in diameter and weighing 361g, finely decorated in dominant Imari palette to depict a garden landscape scene with central square rocks surrounded by flowers, foliage and insects, the wide rim decorated with blossoming branches. Label to the reverse identifying the plate as part of the Nanking Cargo auctioned by Christie´s in 1986, lot 4146. Age of production: circa 1751-1752. Condition: Overall good, short hairline to the rim, see pictures, no further significant damages or repairs. Some wear to the enamel.
