Description from the seller
4 bottles of Chateau Le Caillou Pomerol by Giraud Belivier: 2x 2021 & 2x 2022.
Giraud-Belivier are the winemakers behind Chateau La Tour du Pin Figeac, a famous Chateau in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru (Classé).
The estate has 7 hectares with 75% predominantly Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. The vineyard has an average age of 30 years. Following perfect maturation, the harvest is picked by hand by local staff. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks will be carried out depending on the year in order to remove as much tannin as possible. Fermentations are carried out in traditional vats. The aging of the wines takes place 2/3 in oak barrels for 12 to 16 months and 1/3 in cement vats with a rotation of 3 months which corresponds to the racking. A blend of the vintage is carried out before bottling. The vinifications are monitored by Mr. Gilles Pauquet oenologist.
Chateau Le Caillou is located near very prestigious, famous & renowned Chateau's such as Chateau Le Pin (450m), Beauregard (400m), Vieux Certan (850m), Chateau Pétrus (1500m).
2 bottles are clearly stained.
The single bottles will be shipped to you in a secure, protective packaging. No shipping outside the EU.
