Superb Montblanc 272 mechanical pencil, produced in the second half of the 1950s.
This model is part of the 27x series, including references 272 (mechanical pencil), 274 (ballpoint pen), and 276 (fountain pen).
Rare and sought-after feature
This mechanical pencil features the original double engraving.
'MONTBLANC Pix', engraved on the body.
Bopp & Reuther – Mannheim, a German industrial manufacturer responsible at the time for producing certain mechanisms and components for Montblanc.
This double signature testifies to the period when Montblanc subcontracted part of the manufacturing of its high-end writing instruments. An uncommon configuration, highly appreciated by specialized collectors.
The model features a double gold ring, a vintage clip with a rounded foot, and the push button adorned with the old snowcap, slightly domed.
