A postmodern space‑age XL pendant in metal with a polished brass element, 58 cm in diameter and 30 cm high, dating to 1970–1980 and of German origin, in good condition and in working order with an adjustable height (the spiral wire is cut short and may need a new length) and with a bulb included.
Description from the seller
Postmodern and very distinctive space age XL pendant, assumably German. There is no attribution mark but on the internet it is typically attributed to Hillebrand Germany, generally dated to the 1970s or 1980s.
The lamp is made with a combination of a large, chrome metal shade and polished brass.
It has an adjustable height mechanism but the spiral wire is cut very short so preferably it needs a new wire for more length. Bulp is included.
Measurements:
58 cm in diameter
30 cm in height.
Great vintage condition with signs of ware.
Hillebrand-Leuchten (1881-1995) was a well-known German lighting producer recognized for quality and modern designs, winning several awards [2.2, 2.4, 2.19]. The design is often attributed to Heinz F.W. Stahl, who worked for the company during this era.
