Montegrappa NeroUno fountain pen in resin/polyester with palladium-plated metal fittings and stainless steel components, made in Italy, length 143.5 mm, diameter 13 mm, 1 piece, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
The Montegrappa NeroUno fountain pen is in very good overall condition, retaining its structural soundness and the characteristic design of the line. The faceted body has a clean finish, with well-defined horizontal lines and no significant wear. There are no cracks or breaks, only light surface micro-marks consistent with normal use.
The palladium-plated metal components—rings, clip, section, and faceted ends—maintain a uniform shine, without oxidation or loss of coating. There are a few minor points of wear on the central metal ring, but these do not affect its integrity or overall appearance.
The clip retains its alignment and proper tension, operating correctly and without deformation. The top of the cap displays the "1912" medallion in excellent condition, with the relief clearly defined.
The 18K gold rhodium-plated nib is in very good condition: the surface is clean, the tines are properly aligned, and there are no signs of impact. The tip retains its shape, and there are no deformations that could compromise writing. The feed is clean and functional.
The cartridge/converter loading system works properly, and the cap threads close firmly and smoothly, making it clear that there is no play or wear.
Overall, this Montegrappa NeroUno is offered as a fully functional, visually well-maintained piece with minimal wear, suitable for both collecting and frequent use.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
