Two porcelain tea pots from China in a Qianlong period antique style, with the larger 12.5 cm high by 23.5 cm long (bottom diameter 12.5 cm) and the smaller about 11.5 cm high by 18 cm long by 11 cm diameter, both showing hairline cracks and chips and one with a blue decoration and a metal spout/handle (spout possibly silver); provenance antique market and sold without a stand.
Description from the seller
Two porcelain tea pots. One in white porcelain with typical decoration in blue. Do have a few hairline cracks and some chip also on the lid. Got a metal spout and handle. Spout presumably in silver (not marked). The colorful teapot is made in china for the Middle East market around 1800. Do also have some hairline cracks and chips. “New” handle was made, many years ago, so it is still funktional as a tea pot. However I believe they are best used as decorative objects. The smaller tea pot measures: 11,5 cm high, 18 cm long and 11 cm in diameter on the middle. The bigger colorful teapot pot is 12,5 cm high and 23,5 cm long. Bottom diameter at 12,5 cm.
