Corneille
Corneille was one of the founders and one of the leading representatives of the Cobra movement. He was a highly productive artist and created a vast number of paintings, sculptures, and prints. Initially strongly influenced by Picasso, he later developed the distinctive style features of Cobra. Corneille worked abstractly, but around 1960, he began working figuratively, with well-known subjects such as birds, women, and flowers.
