Offset Lithograph - Hand signed - 1999

25 x 25 Polzer
25 Banknotes of 25 Polzer in a box with title vignette. On the front a portrait of Drs. P (Heinz Polzer) at a river with ferry, on the backside two wolves at a signpost to the city of Omsk, to be seen in the distance.
The banknote was made with watercolour by artist Jaak De Koninck for the exhibition Polzeriana at the Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts for the 80th anniversary of Drs. P.
The letter T refers to Thun and the number is his date of birth in reverse order. Underneath it, as a watermark, a Swiss cross in embossed print. 'Sursum Corda' was a successful theatre revue of Drs. P and 'Ars celare artum' means 'It is an art, to hide the art'. The name 'Banque financière' was made up by Drs. P. Published by Paul Ilegems and Jef Meert in 50 copies, numbered and signed by the artist on the colophon page. Price on release: 75 €.
This copy was exceptionally co-signed by Drs. P.
