The set Leica M Edition 60 was launched in 2014 in a 600-piece limited edition consisting of a digital camera Leica M-P (Type 240) and a lens Leica Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH, both made by Audi Design. This was the first Leica digital camera without LCD screen.

The first Leica M camera with the unique features of the Leica M system was the Leica M3, launched in 1954. Exactly 60 years before the launch of this edition. Continuously perfected over more than six decades, the unique properties of the Leica M3 still stand out, despite the latest technological innovations, and distinguish current Leica M models from other cameras.

The Leica M Edition 60 cameras and lenses are strictly limited to 600 copies worldwide and have unique matching numbers between 001/600 and 600/600. The M cameras also bear the engravings “Leica 60” and “Leica Camera Wetzlar”. The special edition also includes a display box, also made by Audi Design.

This is a collector’s camera, numbered 163/600, in precious stainless steel, with titanium colours - complete with all accessories and never used.
