Very large Manuscript hand-written Torah Bible Scroll leaf from the book of Deuteronomy hand written on genuine calf parchment. The sofer (or scribe) follows the Early Ashkenazi tradition and comply with rules and laws of the Ashkenazi Vellish "Kabbalah" script. It preserves extremely early scribal Ashkenazi traditions and preserves interesting textual anomalies characteristic predominantly of early scribal traditions, which was prevalent in Northern France Germany & Poland.

The scroll came from Germany with other Judaic items and is approximately 350 years old. The present Scroll, has the ancient scribal tradition of the Vellish Script and is a witness to of the Jewish German tradition and various customs, concerning its letters and as a whole, the writing of a Torah.

Torah Fragments like these are extremely rare and seldom seen.. Beautiful, impressive writing Easy to read has faded and cracked letters as expected from such an old manuscript, which does not detract from the value of the item.The Leaf considering its age is well preserved and in good condition and will stay beautiful with care for centuries to come.  After listing the blessings with which G‑d will reward the people when they follow the laws of the Torah, Moses gives a long, harsh account of the bad things that shall befall them if they abandon G‑d’s commandments.
