Nino Giuffrida is an Italian painter born in 1924 in Catania, Sicily. 
At the age of 17, his passion for art and painting led him to attend the Artistic High School in Catania. 
In this period he painted landscapes, seascapes, still lifes. 

Nino settled in Paris and painted the Parisian landscape,
he stays on the café terraces in Montmartre and Saint-Germain-des-Prés where he randomly takes portraits of customers in restaurants. 

In 1961 in Cannes he had the privilege of being visited by Picasso who said of him: “Now we have to bring our own sensitivity and personality to each topic and you are doing well, especially in the characters of your kids, who will stay. 
But I think your paintings will be recognized by your personal colours. 

Amateurs and collectors of Nino Giuffrida's works can be found all over the world, in Japan, the United States, Sweden, the Netherlands and Italy.
