Palm tree table lamp

Designed for the Fiorucci clothing shop at the Galleria Passarella in Milan, Italy, the group's first store, opened in 1967 by founder Elio Fiorucci. 

Only five pieces of this table lamp are made there. 

Andrea Branzi, born in 1938, is an Italian architect and designer. In 1976 he founded Studio Alchimia and in the 1980s he began to associate himself with the Memphis Group. 

The Memphis Group was a design and architecture group founded by Ettore Sottsass in 1981 and produced postmodern furniture, lamps, fabrics, ceramics, glass and metal objects from 1981 to 1987. 

Ettore Sottsass (1917 – 2007) was an Italian architect and designer. He became famous with his designs of jewellery, furniture, glass, lighting, objects and office machine design, as well as many interiors and buildings. 

Made by Targetti Sankey, the largest and best known lamp producer from Florence, Italy.
