JACOPO MATTIA ALEGIANI - Accustomed 1999 - READY TO HANG . Stretched and framed -
A wonderful work of considerable value. READY TO HANG. Stretched and framed . 120 cm x 120 cm x 5 cm thick. "ACCUSTOMED" 1999, marks an important transition in the artist's career. In the 1990s, he stood out for his use of unusual materials, which allowed him to become one of the youngest and most active representatives of kinetic art in Italy. We invite those interested to view the video, linked below, which best describes the artist's work from that period.
This work has been featured in several solo exhibitions. This work has never been offered for sale and is part of the artist's private collection. It can be considered one of the artist's first works in the Abstract Figurative genre. Made with expanded clay, acrylic, plastic mesh, and spray acrylic. The work features a double frame: the first holds the canvas taut, and the other supports the filter. Made of plastic mesh, this filter, thanks to a personal painting technique, gives the work a natural, digital quality, a patina emblematic of our time. An excellent investment. Elegance, contemporaneity, and meaning. A powerful work.

Please note that the photographs and settings of the work are made with AI only to help collectors imagine the work in their own home - The work may appear slightly modified in shape. The size of the work is 120 cm x 120 cm, thickness 5 cm - the work is square.
In the 1980s, he was one of the most active exponents of graffiti. Under the pseudonym "The JA," Jacopo Mattia Alegiani, a painter and video artist, has a long history of research and experimentation, ranging from the graffiti of the 1980s to large-scale canvases, to the painting that today focuses on reproducing the digital effect of screens in general. In the late 1990s, he used unusual materials, including plastic grids, which aided him in the representation of pixels and the intrinsic symbolism of interconnections, allowing him to conceptually bridge the physical and digital worlds. This series of artistic research aims to study and experiment with the phenomena of visual perception and movement.
